A movie that I will introduce is “Stand by Me”. This is an American movie of 1986. The director is Rob Liner. This is a nostalgic youth drama depicting memories of four boys.
Burn, who came in a hurry to the secret base in the summer vacation in 1959, tells three boys “Don’t you want to see the corpse?”. Burn had purchased information from his brother that he found a dead body of a boy named “Di Flower” which had been missing three days ago. The four boys, Burn, Goudy, Chris and Teddy go to look for a Di flower to become a hero who found a corpse. The journey of the four boys was terrible. Along the route of the railroad, fighting while going on a trip, getting run over by the train, being hit by Hill. When doing a lodge in the forest in the evening, they will watch for a substitute by using a pistol brought by Chris. Goudy sometimes has time for watch and Chris, and the two talk about various things. Goudy can confide to Chris that he is disliked by his parents and he is about to be frustrated by his talent writing talent. Chris confided to Goudy that the family environment is bad and that he can not have hope being used by a teacher. The two boys acknowledge each other’s good points.
Then, the bad groups that Burn’s older brother belongs also go to the same place. The four boys arrived at a corpse at just the same time as they. They demanded that they pass corpse. Burn and Teddy quickly escape, but Chris resists. Goudy had a gun and retreated the bad group.
The strange adventure of the four boys ended, broke apart from the town. Goudy became a writer, and Chris entered university and became a lawyer.
It was a movie that feels nostalgic as theme of the boyhood that everyone will experience. Goudy and his friends Chris are bearing in mind some kind of injuries and I was touched by the appearance of boys growing little by little while supporting each other and looking for corpses that are somewhere. It is very impressed that the trip is over and everyone advances to slightly different future.
